Danville Chiropractor: Dr. Frank Bongolan

Danville Chiropractor Dr. Frank BongolanBeing active in sports most of his life, Dr. Frank Bongolan enjoyed very good health. It wasn't until many years and a couple of car accidents later that he felt the pain in his neck and shoulders from previous sports and auto injuries. Because of the pain he experienced he stopped running and working out at the gym. His overall health began to diminish. Not knowing what to do he suffered in silence for many years. While taking a class at a local college, a classmate referred him to her chiropractor. In a very short time his neck and shoulder pains were gone. "It was incredible," continues Dr. Frank. "I felt pain-free for the first time in years." He resumed his exercise routines, improved his dietary habits, and as a result, felt his health returning. He chose to become a chiropractor so that he can return the "gift of health" that was given to him.

Dr. Frank believes. "God is our healer," and gives the credit to God for his and patients health. He practices what he preaches and receives chiropractic care at least once week and massage therapy twice a month. He eats primarily a plant-based diet. He exercises by running and lifting weights at the gym three to four times a week. During the warmer months you'll also find him hiking the backroads of Northern California.

After completing his pre-chiropractic study, he was accepted at Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA. During his four years at Life West, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life West  College Public Clinic. After graduating in 1997 Dr. Bongolan moved to San Ramon, CA area with his wife Dr. Cynthia Fandrich to establish their practice.

Many of Dr. Bongolan's patients are families with athletes (young and old), those with chronic pain conditions, In fact he is known as the "pain and extremity specialist". He treats people with health complaints ranging from knee problems, whiplash, frozen shoulder, and low back stiffness and pain. He not only gets them out of pain but instructs them on stretches and rehab exercises so they can improve on their game or overall recovery.

“We love skeptics,” smiles Dr. Bongolan. “I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that.”

“Thank you for visiting our site. I hope it can be a source of hope and healing. If you have any questions, please call us or click on the Email the Doctor button at the bottom of every page.”

Danville Chiropractor: Dr. Cynthia Fandrich

Danville Chiropractor Dr. Cynthia FandrichDr. Cynthia Fandrich chose chiropractic because she had a passion to help others regain their health naturally as she did from a severe gymnastics injury that resulted in eight years of neck pain, severe migraines, and digestive discomfort. After taking pain medication for many years and not getting any relief and only side effects, a friend on her gymnastics team referred her to a chiropractor and her first thought was "What a bone cracker?" Little did she know that the nervous system controls everything in the body and after beginning care and changing her poor diet she was headache-free within 2 weeks. Her first chiropractor explained to her how the body comunicated through symptoms and how to get to the cause of the problem and not always treat the symptoms with a drug. She was very relieved and went on to continue to learn from this chiropractor then eventually decided to become one herself to help others achieve pain relief and optimal health naturally.

Living Well Asks some important questions of interest to Danville residents - Chiropractor Danville Living Well Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
